I have one and it dead keys 2 watts and swings 18 on am and SSB it does about 25 watts. this is a bipolar final radio. you will see some a little lower and have some guys say their's swings just over 20 on AM. so you may get a lot of different answers on this.

I purchased my Galaxy new from a dealer on Ebay about three years ago. How can I tell what kind of finals it has?
I believe sometime in mid 2006 they switched to mosfet finals, My DX959 is at about that on ssb and am, My DX 88hl is around 20 on low and 40 on hi, but back to your question i believe radionut has already answered it best
pull the bottom cover and read the part number on the final so you can see what part is in it. post what part number is in it or search the web and it will tell you the part number is a bipolar or a mosfet. irf 520 is a mosfet and the 2sc1969 is a bipolar.
It is easier to look at the serial number, if the serial number is 95959418 or less it is a 1969 transistor, higher it is a mosfet, there has been a couple of exceptions but they are rare.
