My Wilson needs trimming but...
I need to trim my Little Wil however my concern is if I swap radios will the swr change.
I've searched either poorly or this hasn't been addressed here. If the first is true please accept my apologies.

It shouldn't change with a radio swap but it could change from one vehicle to another. When trimming only remove a 1/4" at a time, bottom out the whip and check the SWR. You might try moving the antenna around on the roof to find the sweet spot first.

SWR is a function of the antenna and it's environment. Changing a radio will not change the SWR.

Thanks Guys, I don't mean to be timid but cutting an antenna is a little spooky if it gets ruined and needs replacement I'll be in trouble.
