I need to trim my Little Wil however my concern is if I swap radios will the swr change.
I've searched either poorly or this hasn't been addressed here. If the first is true please accept my apologies.
Thank you for your time

It shouldn't change with a radio swap but it could change from one vehicle to another. When trimming only remove a 1/4" at a time, bottom out the whip and check the SWR. You might try moving the antenna around on the roof to find the sweet spot first.

SWR is a function of the antenna and it's environment. Changing a radio will not change the SWR.

Thanks Guys, I don't mean to be timid but cutting an antenna is a little spooky if it gets ruined and needs replacement I'll be in trouble.
